  The hull was to be built upside down, so a building back-bone was screwed to my trusty building board, the ribs fitted to it and the keel fitted into notches at bow and stern. Each rib was pre-cut almost completely across at deck level, so that after planking was completed only small saw cuts at each rib edge were needed to detach the hull from the extra material added above deck level.

   General Specifications Pilot Cutter No. 20 GDANSK Harbour. Poland. Completed June, 1975. Built by 'ODRA' of Szczecin. Designer St. Gzika of'Navicentrum', Wroclaw. Length: 20.03 metres. Beam: 5.22 metres. Gross weight: 52.3 tonne.
