My Rancocas Valley Route needed a mail car to fill the slot on the timetable labelled "Morning Mail" and "Evening Mail." Our last railway post office car came under the axe three years ago during a drastic car expansion program. We had gone so far as other rolling stock. Dave's Rainy River Traction Co. needed another car to serve with its passenger motor and motor box car so the ITS car pictured split the differ­ence nicely besides being a very fine looking vehicle.

The plan given shows the car essentially as Dave Williams built it, since his car follows the original more closely than mine.
