WE have had one or two requests for a design to suit available outboard motors so when Erich Heimann dropped in on a visit from Germany and showed us such a drawing we were happy to accept. it went quite well but wouldn't win a Naviga speed event! At 271/2 in. hull length and 11 1/2 in. beam, with a Fuji 2 ½ outboard (or a similar inboard) we would expect 8‑10 m.p.h. Radio is concealed under the seats, and the rear seat also hides the fuel tank, if an outboard is fitted.
