DID you ever hear some fellows say 'that nothing flies like a big' "Class D stunter? I know, because I said it many times myself. So I went to work to design a stunt model around the small.05 glow engines. The first one showed me I was on the right track, although it didn't have enough wing area. The second plane, the Roger Dodger, proved beyond a doubt that the little ships, stunt well. . '
This model will do anything; all AMA manoeuvres and then some It even has some advantages over a big Class D ship. It can be flown on front lawns, in back-yard lots, and other small areas. The cost of operation is extremely low. The lines used were 15 feet of thread which I kept wrapped around the battery when not in use. The cost of building runs into something like one dollar and the ship is practically crash proof. To keep the weight down, the landing gear was omitted; the ship is hand launched.' ,
