Runabout is based on one of the small Chris-Craft designs and is very typical of the fast little craft usually used for towing. A 1/2a will give nippy scale performance, but quite a good speed can be obtained with a small electric motor. The craft is capable of taking any small radio control equipment in order that a controlled course can be steered with a skier in tow. Hatches would be necessary in both the fore and after decks, and there is room for the receiver and batteries between B2 and B3, and adequate room for an actuator and the remaining batteries between B5 and B6.
Construction is very conventional, starting off with the erection of the bulkheads on the keel.
