About four years ago when I first began to build model airplanes I was told by some older boys at home to learn to be consistent. I have tried to follow this advice and it has paid off. You will find when you build the Gopher that it is the acme of consistency. The records speak for themselves: first place senior at the Dallas Nationals with 148.75 mph and first place senior at the Detroit Internationals with 148.33 mph. It did 145 mph on the first test flight. The main objective I have tried to attain with this ship is to have a steady, dependable motor run, combined with a confident take-off, and a fast flight
