"Novi IV" is quite a change from my other stunt designs in that it is clean aerodynamically. No gaping air intakes, stab-elevator fairings, phony fuselage air intakes, canopy antennas or I-beam wing construction with its fabric sag between ribs at the leading edge. Also, there are no rudder and/or stab pitot tubes to break off on your shirt sleeve.
For the second time in three years, "Novi IV" won the top appearance points at the Nationals. This time the model received 38 out of a possible 40 points in the combined categories of workmanship, realism, originality and finish. A select few of the fellow stunt fliers always moan and groan over a highly detailed stunt model.
