   THIS model was built as a result of interest aroused by a visit to the 1966 'Hovershow' at Gosport. After seeing the full‑size craft and collecting brochures describing their construction, I had plenty to think about during the following winter.

    The basics of this design were drawn out, but before starting construction, I decided to build a small (15 x 9 in.) Bantam ­powered model as an experimental project. Although this was very inefficient, it proved that the ideas would work and gave confidence in tackling the 32 in. model.
