NOTE: Plan is designed to utilize a styrene hull. Hull lines are included in the drawing for scratch builders
Two Monoperms would be the ideal motors and two channel R/C would fit nicely, hopefully it would perform well on the water. Having now completed and run the model it performs better than I could ever have hoped, performance and steering being exceptional!
Although titled Harbour DML these launches carried out a multitude of duties, many spending much time in harbour, however they illed in on everything else, escorts for coastal patrols, air defence, picket boats; some even went on the Dieppe raid!
Length OA: 72ft. Length PP: 70ft. Beam: 15ft. Displacement: 46 to 54 tons. Engine installations were as varied as armament, therefore speed ranged from 10 knots to 17 knots, displacement also varied as to duties, armament and fuel capacity.
